JEWELRY CARE N.W

Silver Jewelry Care:

Store silver jewelry in a sealed plastic bag when not in use, to protect it from moisture and water.

Avoid storing your jewelry in the bathroom or other humid areas.

Silver jewelry will naturally oxidize over time and wear, but it can be polished with a jewelry cloth and cleaned with metal polish or a baking soda and hot water solution.

Gold Plated Jewelry Care:

Gold plating is a layer of gold on top of silver and requires special care. Tarnishing of the gold plating is natural and should be expected to occur. The extent of tarnishing depends on various factors, including, among other things, individual body chemistry, humidity in the environment, frequency of use, and care.

Gold plated jewelry should be removed prior to bathing, showering, washing hands, swimming, exercising, and applying perfume, hairspray, or lotion, as exposure to moisture or chemicals may cause tarnishing to occur faster. They should be stored in a sealed plastic bag in a dry area when not in use.

If your gold vermeil jewelry needs to be cleaned, avoid all chemical cleaners as it will remove the plating. A 100% cotton or microfiber cloth is best for cleaning gold vermeil jewelry.

We offer a re-plating service for a reasonable fee.

Gold Care:

To clean and maintain the shine of your 14k solid gold piece, lightly scrub it with a soft-bristled brush using warm water and soap, then buff gently with a clean cloth. Store your gold jewelry in a safe and dry place when not wearing it.

GOLD -Wearing solid gold jewelry, white gold or yellow gold, in the shower will not harm the metal itself, however it can reduce the shine therefore it is not recommended.

Maintaining the brilliance of gold and diamonds requires regular care. Clean jewelry gently with a soft toothbrush and mild soapy water, paying attention to intricate settings. Store pieces separately in soft pouches, avoid exposure to harsh chemicals, and consider periodic professional cleaning to ensure longevity and radiance.

Remove your jewelry during certain activities such as cleaning, swimming and exercising. Avoid letting your jewelry come into contact with harsh household chemicals like hairspray and chlorine, and make sure to store your jewelry in a safe dry place. Storing your pieces individually in soft pouches can help to avoid scuffs and scratches as well.

If your PL Fine and 14k gold piercing pieces need to be cleaned, you can use a mild soap and warm water with a soft toothbrush.
